ZONE 1

SILKSCREEN PRINT ON LAMBETH DRAWING PAPER

SIZE - 40 X 40CM

LIMITED EDITION OF 30

'Zone 1', printed from a hand drawn positive. A visual interpretation of zone 1 of the London Underground map. Each zone 1 station has been drawn in relation to its location on the map, creating an alternate cartographic image. The modern tube map is an iconic piece of design, created by Harry Beck in 1931, a functional revolution in the maps design. This piece reverses this functionality, replacing the station names with its architecture.
